Valid 022353Z - 030130Z The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 701 continues. SUMMARY...A corridor of greater tornado potential (possibly strong) will exist along the Red River into south-central Oklahoma and western North Texas. DISCUSSION...A linear segment near the Wichita Falls area has occasionally shown signs of evolving into more discrete elements. Though it is not clear how this activity will ultimately evolve--storm interactions have complicated the evolution--this region has locally greater potential for a dominant supercell or two. Low-level rotation has been stronger along the Red River, but activity farther south will have more unimpeded inflow. As the low-level jet is beginning to intensify, these storms will encounter greater low-level shear with time. A strong tornado will be possible, which is more probable should storms become/remain discrete. ..Wendt.. 11/02/2026 ...Please see www.spc.noaa.gov for graphic product... ATTN...WFO...FWD...OUN...
